Over 10,000 Applicants Vie for PMAY Scheme in Pimpri and Akurdi Developments
The application window for the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) closed in Pune on August 27, 2023, with a remarkable response from Pimpri Chinchwad residents. More than 10,000 individuals applied online for the housing projects at Akurdi and Pimpri, reflecting the program's popularity among financially disadvantaged citizens. Under the initiative, aimed at those earning less than Rs 3 lakh annually, a total of 10,108 applications were received during the application period that commenced on June 28. Notably, the projects plan to erect 568 flats in Akurdi, drawing 4,638 applications, and 370 flats in Pimpri, with 6,693 applications received.
In a successful outcome, the deadline for submitting applications for the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) has now concluded in Pune as of August 27, 2023.
