MahaRERA has recorded its highest-ever number of housing project registrations this October, a month marked by both Dasara and Diwali. According to official data, 405 new housing projects were approved across Maharashtra, alongside 209 project extensions and 195 correction requests. This marks a record-breaking month for the state’s real estate sector.
The Mumbai Metropolitan Region topped the list with 197 project approvals, followed by Pune with 122. Smaller cities like Satara, Kolhapur, Sangli, and Solapur also contributed to the growing numbers. Officials noted that the festive season encouraged many developers to register new launches on time, maintaining full compliance with MahaRERA regulations. The overall sentiment remains positive, with steady growth seen across both registrations and revenue collection.
