Game-Changing Chandni Chowk Flyover Promises Faster Commutes and Relief from Traffic Gridlock
The Chandni Chowk flyover, set to open on August 12, is expected to significantly reduce commuting time for residents and commuters. Union transport minister Nitin Gadkari will officiate the inauguration, alongside CM Eknath Shinde and NHAI officials.
The project, aimed at alleviating traffic congestion on the Pune-Bengaluru Highway, has faced delays but is anticipated to benefit thousands of people. With an average of 1.6 lakh vehicles daily at Chandni Chowk, the project's completion after its initiation in October 2019 is seen as a remedy to traffic woes and potential violations of traffic regulations.
