Upcoming Shastri Nagar Flyover Project Sparks Concerns Over Traffic and Accessibility
Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) officials and project consultants met with citizens on Friday to discuss concerns about the upcoming Shastri Nagar flyover and grade separator project. During the meeting, residents voiced their concerns about potential traffic disruptions and pedestrian safety during the three-year construction period. Citizens also highlighted issues related to managing stormwater and drainage to prevent future waterlogging in the area.
In response to these concerns, PMC officials assured residents that they would address the issues raised and review possible solutions. A follow-up meeting will be scheduled to present the proposed measures once finalized, ensuring transparency and community involvement in the project planning process.
