The Pune–Nanded Vande Bharat Express is expected to begin operations by the end of 2025, offering a faster and more efficient connection between western Maharashtra and Marathwada. Covering a distance of 550 km in just seven hours, the train will run via Dharashiv and Latur, with modern onboard facilities such as air-conditioned chair cars, Wi-Fi, reclining seats, and advanced security features.Ticket fares are likely to be between ₹1500–₹1900 for AC Chair Car and ₹2000–₹2500 for Executive Class. Once launched, the new route is expected to boost trade, education, and tourism while improving regional connectivity across major districts in Maharashtra.
